  If you need a new positioning lever for a Bosch Rotak 340ER lawnmower, then buy the part No ES1118186, It is exactly the same as the one you require, though the website will have you believe it' Not compatible, IT IS ! It's just black instead of red. Before purchasing i phoned E Spares to ask about compatibility, they said .. . It wasn't, but i knew from the pictures it looked correct, so i bought it anyway, and i'm very glad i did. Easy to fit and prompt delivery. Now my wife can cut the grass !!

  The right part, but confusingly named 13 November 2014

  When this arrived, it turned out to be exactly the thing that I wanted, but it isn't a "positioning lever". It is in fact part of the power switch. At any rate, that's how it is used in my lawn mower, which has a typical safety interlock system that won't let you turn the power on unless you have also pressed a big red button.

  I was looking for a new lever for my lawn mower and espares came up trumps. I was really pleased that you could still buy this lever even though my mower is over 10 years old. Ordering on the website was straight forward and the lever arrived within a couple of days. The hints on how to remove the old lever was very useful as well.

  This was a good buy and was a good price. It was not very easy to fit. There was a small flat piece of metal and it was difficult to see exactly where it should be positioned. If I was giving any advice to e spares I would recommend a small drawing showing where this piece of metal should be positioned.

  With three products not working - do I buy new or repair? As a retired engineer, knowing what was needed, the choice was simple! Spend a few pounds to extend the life from 10 to 20 years OR spend 60 time more to replace. The E-Spares parts store gave good advice about suitability. Parts arrived in days. SAFETY FIRST - IF YOU ARE NOT SKILLED DO NOT RISK D.I.Y.
