Better than the OEM part 09 March 2018
I bought this "Universal" pump to the replace the original pump in my Samsung Washer Dryer. The original pump was very noisy from day one but this one is very quiet and I'm very pleased.

Great product - may not be DIY for everyone though 15 February 2018
Fitted my whirlpool washer dryer. I needed to use 3 self tapping screws to secure to pump body. I also had to cut off the original 2-pin power connector and crimp/solder individual spade connectors onto power lead to fit universal pump motor - Although it's 240v the wires are quite small gauge - I didn't think that crimping was sufficient given the amount of vibration -- So I soldered the spade connectors then insulated them with Shrink tubing - This Is IMPORTANT so that un-insulated 240v's are not a danger to anyone servicing in the future - SAFETY FIRST -- UNPLUG FROM MAINS BEFORE STARTING WORK

Ok, so it will depend on your machine as to how easy the pump is to get to. I was in and out of my machine in 30 mins. It slipped straight into place with no need for trimming, squeezing, hammering or indeed swearing. The latter of which immensly impressed my good lady. So it just pops straight into place, I just put the 3 original screws back, tightened them up and hey presto no leaks, squeaks or squeals and the machine drains once again. Job done.

Dump reprieve for 14 year old machine 02 July 2018
Through ESpares our 14 yr old Bosch washing Machine lives again! With help of video tuition and next day delivery, the machine has a new pump. Before then new brushes and soap tray. We cleaned a lot of debris from the drain pipes and new spade connectors to the pump electric connection . On her third wash and hoping the old girl keeps going but like me, mend one ailment and get another!
