  Pump was easy to Purchase and Fit 18 March 2018

  My husband followed your video on fitting the pump, it was a different LG washing machine but very helpful. He put everything back on washing machine BUT the rubber around the drum he could not get back on. No help with this on your video and we had to call some one out to do it, other wise we were very pleased with the pump and fitting it thank you.

  Wiring not the same as whirlpool. Had to cut off old wire spade connectors and fit two single spades. Not easy if not capable at DIY and with no spare connectors. No instructions !! had to presume brown was live out of the two brown/purple feed wires. luckily this was correct. Everything else fine other than very confined working space in machine.

  Bought as replacement for siemens machine after being directed to this model on website Pump fitted but had to make modifications to pump housing for screws to hold in place as old unit was a twist fit and also fit new spade connectors as slightly different connections However working perfectly once fixing issues sorted

  Does the job nicely 28 October 2015

  Bought this to replace faulty drain pump on my LG Washer Dryer (WD12317RDK), slightly different to the original pump in that the power connections are on the back rather than the front (hence Ease of fitting rating) but this is more an observation than a criticism of the pump. Other than that, does exactly whats its required to do!

  Be prepared to alter 25 August 2015

  I'd been having some issues with my Hotpoint throwing F05 faults. This being the drain pump, therefore, planning ahead I bought one of these and stashed in the cupboard for the day that it actually stopped working. It didn't and just kept throwing occasional F05 faults which was cured by turning it off and after 10 seconds or so turning it back on. To cut a long story short I finally had to drag the washer out to have work done on my boiler and thought it was an opportunity to change it regardless. When I looked at it I had to change the wiring on the washer and and put on new spades. Couldn't be bothered so I looked at the original and all it was was a bit of lace caught on the impeller shaft, which got too tight sometimes and stopped it turning. Gutted. Not worth returning it because by the time I've paid postage for recorded delivery the amount gained just wasn't worth it and it was past the 'return by' time. Morale: either ask the question does it need modification? Or espares put on a line stating wiring may need modification. Check if your pump actually needs replacing because there is no lint filter on my specific machine, hence the problem. Or just wait for for it to give up the ghost entirely at which point you have no choice, regardless what the wife says about having no washing machine and tell her to wear her knickers twice.
