Not "universal" 27 April 2016
This wasn't the correct part for my Hoover washer despite being led to it via the website.- the description really should mention that there are 2 electrical connectors for this pump - many washers (including mine)only have a single connector. The returns process worked well though.

This Does Not Fit a LG WM16220FD as Advertised 06 February 2016
This part is rated at 40W, not the 30W that is installed in the washing machine when new. Further, the electric terminals face outwards, not inwards. This means that when installing the drain pump, the wires connecting to the terminal are right up against the metal side panel of the washing machine. In time, the insulation will fail due to vibration with a risk of electicution.

Cost Efective Replacement Pump 16 December 2015
Says its compatible but you need to physically check it first as there are several variants. I jumped the gun and had to adapt the mounting and wiring loom to suit,to make this fit my machine. If you don't have these skills you will need to make certain you buy the like for like item it will of course be much dearer. Otherwise works perfectly and was very cheap in comparison to the other pumps shown also to suit my machine.

Replacing a Bosch Pump, Fiddley but doable 11 September 2014
Not a direct swap, Need to lineup the tabs on the housing with the holes on the pump and drill pilot holes then screw the two components together. First attempt leaked, but sorted using the original pump's (thicker) o-ring and some gasket sealant. Had to remove original electrical plug and extend with some spade connectors to attach to new pump. A bit of work but worth the savings over buying an original pump for a 7 year old machine

Pump replacement 12 November 2013
Pump was purchased to replace a Bosch one. The original housing had to be taken out and drilled to accept the nuts and bolts (not supplied) to attach the new pump. The electrical connections had to be modified as they are not compatible with the original ones. Not a job for the first timer.

Unbeatable in price though delivery could be better. Installed the same pump in November last year but failed within a year. Let's see how long this new one will last for!

Making the connections 27 March 2012
The pump was fine, easily replaced the old pump, a perfect fit. The only problem was the connections, the old pump had a small connector and the new pump had larger (Lucar) connections, so the old connector had to be cut off and a new conector fitted. Excluding the connector problem, the new pump was fitted in a matter of minutes and works perfectly.

The pump is ok and fits where it should but there was no mention of having to adapt the wiring.If you are very capable then there is no problem but dont buy this thinking it is a straight forward like for like swap

Probably good item just doesn't fit. 05 February 2012
I bought this washing machine pump just before Christmas it was good value compared to the Bosch OEM item that was 9x more! HOWEVER it didn't get fitted over the holiday period. The washing machine has just stopped working completely so I went to fit the new pump and it does not mate up to the pump housing. I have tried cutting off a couple of lugs that looked like they might be fouling but no good the screw holes are different centres, the flange is set back from the pump housing, the electrical connection needs to be carefully altered. All in all I should have spent more money and got the correct part. So, this item does not fit a Siemens Siewamat C10 model no: WM50200GB/14. No gripes about the return policy. I was past the 14 day return period & I butchered the unit to get it to fit, so it will be going in the bin.

Drain Pump Sticking 05 March 2017
The replacement Pump was reasonably easy to fit, although the help video shows a simple twist fit, whereas the Indesit WIXE167 has 3 locating screws. Once removed it is the same flange. The only problem is the electrical connection. The original has a single plug , the replacement has 2 single connectors. Not a simple straight forward swap, you will need to get some push on blade connectors, cut and re-crimp the wires; I don`t know if there is a conversion lead for this. Espares help desk confirmed it was the correct pump but unable to offer a solution. Trip to electrical shop or car spares is required.
