  Not as good as OE 17 January 2016

  Fitted new pump approx two and a half years ago. Pump now not functioning. Not quite the result I had hoped for. Unimpressed.

  This pump was listed as an alternative to the original manufacturers item, it is dimenstionally identical and appears to be be very high quality at less than half the price, however my machine (Zanussi) uses a bayonet type fixing but the attatchment face of this pump is without the necessary lugs for this. This was an urgent stop gap as my machine is 7 years old and may be replaced soon but because I had washing piling up rapidly, I managed to bodge it on with one screw hole lining up (provided for an alternate machine?) and fabricating a clamp for another, the 'O' ring seals fine, no leaks (yet) but if you are not an engineer or are short on mechanical skills this may not be the pump for you. Incorrectly listed as compatable for my machine and possibly yours!
