Classix 1400 - Universal water pump didn't fit 01 February 2015
Firstly i must say excellent service from espares. This part was advertised as a universal part for many machines. I did check the part number against compatibility of Bosch washing machine all seemed OK. However when fitted the part did not seal correctly with the pump housing and leaked. Maybe my fitting but i don't think so have ordered genuine part now.

Website recommended this for a Bosch Waa 24161gb, not a hope of it fitting, totally different. Good returns policy though. I have rated quality and value in the middle as I have no idea if it is any good when fitted to the correct machine.

This is worth physically looking at the existing pump first before ordering. I ordered thinking it was a convertible one, but it WILL NOT physically fit. Luckily, I DID have one, so will keep this for OTHER machines. Askoll type pumps are becoming more and more common, but this particular one will not fit if it is a "twist and lock" style existing pump on the appliance.

Cheap but should last longer 10 July 2013
Bought one just over a year ago (13mths) and it's packed up already, pump turns on but then off after a few secs, looks like there is too much resistance to move. Didn't think I would need another one this quickly ...

Don't believe the 'universal' heading. Pump is different to standard Bosch pumps. I connected the pump power lead to the wrong 1 of 2 connectors on the pump. It blew the boards on the washer dryer.

Doesn't fit Bosch WFF1401 19 July 2011
Nearly fits - fractional diameter difference - but doesn't unfortunately so will have to spend somewhat more.... Web site says it does but no way will it even after some surgery!! Please add a note e-spares!!

I was told over the phone and the web that this pump would fit a AWG349/4, but it didn't. What a waste of time!!!!!!!!!

Does NOT fit Bosch WAA28160GB/01 15 November 2010
Came very quickly - top marks for that but despite being listed for Bosch WAA28160 washer it does not fit. This item is a screw fix; Bosch needs twist bayonet fitting.

Web Site said this part would fit my Machine but it did not form a water tight seal as the design is just too different. Complete waste of time and money.

Didn't easily fit. 22 November 2015
Didn't fit my Bosch washer. This part was the pump on its own and didn't fit onto my drain housing, the part the hoses connect to. Recomnend purchasing a pump that comes with new drain housing also. Electrical connectors are spade type, not a plug type, and existing connector in machine would have needed cutting and crimping to fit this pump.
