Good value replacement. 19 February 2010
Though this pump is not exactly the same as the original; it's a bit shorter and has no thermal switch, it was extremely easy to replace the faulty one. Empty any water through the filter trap, tip machine on it's right hand side, just three screws to undo to release the pump and the replacement lined-up exactly. The washing machine now works fine. However resetting the machine's computer 'brain' took a few attempts and much patience. The price is a small fraction of what a call out fee alone would have been.

noisy pump problem cured 14 February 2010
Pump arrived after one week due to initially being out of stock. If I had known this when I ordered I probably would of gone elsewhere. However , when it arrived it looked exactly the same as the original but the terminal connections were in a different position to the original and therefore the original plug would not fit. The original plug was cut off and new spade connectors crimped on to the existing two wires which could then be connected to the motor ok. Obviously it is important to check before cutting plug off you know where the wires are going on to the new motor. The connections were marked the same as the original. Easy to change over, just three screws. If you want to keep original plug on machine you could make up a couple of fly leads from the plug to the new motor ,male spade terminal one end and a female the other. Without connectors and crimping tool it could not just be swapped over. Some DIY electrical skills needed. Once fitted worked a treat and is still ok 2 weeks later. Would buy from here again.

PUMP EXACTLY RIGHT TYPE, WASN'T SURE IF I'D SELECTED THE CORRECT ONE. MY HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO FIT PUMP AND HAVE MACHING WORKING AGAIN STRAIGHTAWAY.

Almost perfect 05 February 2010
I bought this pump for an AEG washing machine. It seems to have been the original manufacturer for AEG. When one visits AEG website etc. what is offered is this, plus the volute casing. Different manufacturers seem to use this impellor/motor with their own volute casing and connections. The spares price then multiplies x5. This is a great little unit and well done to eSpares for sourcing it so competitively. Only downside: it needs sealing with silicon grease. None was mentioned and none was supplied. Fortunately I recognised it, had some and applied where it had been before. Other buyers may not be as lucky.

My washer broke the week before Christmas. I checked it out, and it seemed like the motor pump I needed. I have used this site before, I found a universal part. The part was easy to fit. Saving us a fortune. thanks

Cheapest I could find, prompt delivery and fairly easy to fit. Straight forward job provided you have a philips screwdriver, only hampered by poor access on LG machine. Second part from espares (1st electric door catch) and will use again.
