Fitting of pump 09 December 2014
When I got the pump which arrived very quickly it was fairly easy to fit but I did need to modify the connection from the washing machine to the pump but luckily I had the right size crimps to use.The fitting did not take long I think it took longer to disconnect the hoses and remove the panels and refit them back again

'Compatible' The Clue is in the Title 29 November 2014
As the description suggests this is a ‘compatible’ part and I assume fits may different types of machine. I used it to replace the twist on/off bayonet style pump on my John Lewis washing machine. It does fit but had to be secured with a self tapping screw (not supplied) rather than the twist on/off bayonet on the original part. The pump housing on my machine had a boss to accept the screw so it wasn't a problem. Good value alternative to a direct replacement part. Overall - very good service and next day delivery.

Ordered on Saturday and it arrived the following Monday, WOW, fantastic turn around. The only thing that was different was the electrical connections, but a couple of new spade connectors and the machine was back in action. Will defiantly use E Spares again

Pumps fit ok , but wiring connections are in a different place so had to re-route wires at a bit of a stretch.

Whilst the pump was easy to fit once access was achieved you should be aware you may have to fit electrical connections to the machine wiring loom to suit the new pump.That is my machine connectors were not compatible with the new pump, the polarity +/- were marked on new pump but there was no identification on my machine & wires were both red, a means of identifying polarity on machine wiring was required, volt meter.

Drain Pump 28 June 2014
The pump is working fine but something to be aware of! The pump would not go in to a position where I could put the screws back. At first I thought the spigot diameter was too big then I realised it was the new o ring that was holding the pump out. So... remember to keep the old o ring you might need it! It will all depend on the model of washing machine you have. One pump compatible with many machines so I accept the small problem I had, I'm sure a manufacturers model would have been more than 10 quid

Not quite one off, one on.... 23 March 2014
The machine's pump housing didn't take the new pump without some modification. I'm a maintenance electrician and managed it ok, but someone less mechanically minded may struggle a little. That said, it works, it's quiet and was a fraction of the price of the OE part. Good value.

as with a previous reviewer, the pump was compatible but required the pump housing to be removed and drilled to allow three self tap screws to be fitted to secure the new pump. The two wires also needed to be extended and spade terminals fitted, the supplied rubber O ring was used but caused a leak, the original pump O ring was slightly bigger and this was used instead of the supplied one. No leaks this time. Good value.
