this comes with a bulb so dont buy one like i did....spades can be hard to remove off old fitting

video instructions on removing existing part would help. Existing part is removed by a bit of brute force and ignorance. Very easy to fit new part. Simply clip on the wires for L, N and Earth and then press the new part back in place. Lamp assembly brightens up the oven so I can see all the dirt now!

Broke my oven lamp,removing the old bulb,instantly thought of espares.Their website is very easy to use,locating the correct part in minutes.Lamp was easy to fit for a competent DIYer .Even got a £5 credit to use so I purchased a new lawnmower blade aswell

No fitting instructions 25 September 2009
I bought this assembly as the small protective glass panel cracked for no apparent reason. The Zanussi oven is only four years old. I had to buy the whole assembly as the front protective glass plate is not sold separately. At nearly £19 including delivery, the part is expensive and very fiddly to fit. Instructions would have helped! I hope this lasts longer than the original part!

I don't know how to fit it! 18 March 2009
I got the part wrapped properly and delivered intact - but with no instructions as to how to fit it to the oven, bearing in mind it is the light fitting and it will be dark in there when I do it. So it is useless to me unless I pay a £70 call out charge to get someone in.

A bit tricky to fit 24 January 2012
Item was an exact replacement for my AEG fan oven. The glass cover from the old one came off easily enough, but the metal part of the old bulb holder had to be levered away from the side of the oven with a thin screwdriver, carefully. Once that was free, the three spade connectors on the old fitting had to be gently pulled off with pliers. The wires in the oven are very short and so tricky to connect the spade terminals to the new unit. Once that is done it is just a press fit into the side of the oven, then push on the new glass. It is interesting that the bulb seems to be a standard philips screw high wattage type. It might be easier just to sell replacement bulbs as then you would only need to take the glass cover off, which is the easiest bit.
