    Fitted perfectly 07 May 2014

Ordered this item for my McCulloch 210 petrol grass trimmer as original parts had perished, removed old hose and measured a length of new hose to fit, quiet easy to fit once fed through hole in fuel tank using long nose pliers

Flymo Maxitrim 430 fuel Line 18 December 2013

I read the other feedback on this site to gain confidence that I was ordering the right part (ES 1083371) for my trimmer, and indeed it is the correct diameter. It arrived within a couple of days, and I have just completed the fitting. I first tried to fit it from outside to inside, but I couldn't get hold of the small tapered tongue inside the tank, even with surgical tongs. I then resorted to feeding a small diameter wire (about half the ID of the tubing) through the small hole in the tank from outside to inside until it protruded from the tank filler cap hole. I then slid the tapered end of the tubing along this guide wire from the tank filler cap side and wiggled the wire in the through-wall hole whilst gently pushing and twisting on the tubing going into the tank. When about 3mm of the tapered tube was visible on the outside, I withdrew the guide wire and gripped this small tongue in a pair of needle-nosed pliers and gently pulled about one inch of tubing through the hole. It is much easier to get hold of the tapered end on the outside of the tank. When I had pulled enough tubing outside to hold firmly in my fingers, I put slightly less tension onto the other end of the tube, and by stretching it on the feeding side, the diameter was reduced so that it passed more easily through the hole. I was then just left with deciding on how much tube to have outside and inside the tank. The old tube was used as a guide for the inside length since it had a distinctly narrowed diameter where it had been held in the tank wall. I was able to push-fit the tube onto the stone and carburettor pipes with moderate effort, and the tube is a good tight fit on both. It is also held well in the tank wall when the tension is removed. I have not yet tested the trimmer as I don't want any 2-stroke fuel left in it over the winter, but I don't see why I should encounter any further problems when I do come to use it in the spring. It might be possible to get another two replacement lengths from what remains of the tubing, but I have certainly used less than half of the supplied tube for this first renewal. In summary, it is the correct tubing for my strimmer, it was shipped quickly, it is a DIY task to fit it, it will do at least two replacements so it is good value, and was un-obtainable wherever else I tried to buy it. Thoroughly recommended supplier, and goods fit for purpose.

Replacement pipe is OK 16 September 2013

Pipe fitted OK. These fuel pipes last only a few years so I am pleased that the pipe supplied by E-Spares is long enough to replace the pipe twice.

Small part, big service 23 July 2013

The fuel pipe arrived in one day from ordering, there were easy to follow instructions on how to fit, and it made what I was expecting to be a difficult task easy, the machine I thought was broken for good is now as good as new, thank you

    Just what I needed 26 March 2013

I was unsure about ordering this small fuel pipe online as to whether I would get the right one! but once I received my purchase, within days, my fears were gone as it was the correct pipe for my strimmer. The only slight problem I had was that I did not have the manual for the strimmer and therefore did not know the original length of fuel line to cut. Service was good.

Perfect for Flymo Strimmer 22 February 2013

This was the exact replacement for a Flymo Maxi Trim 430.When fitting ,cut a long point on the line with razor sharp blade and feed through from the inside to the outside. You can grip the tiny piece of line with pliers or similar and pull through.Trying to get a suffient grip on the line from inside would be very difficult.

Tricky but possible 12 September 2012

It's not a quick fix for replacing Flymo fuel pipes, but with patients its possible. The fuel pipe is (as required) a very tight fix. Empty the fuel before removing the fuel pump so that I could get to the fuel pipes hole which entered the bottom of the fuel tank. Pushed the fuel pipe into the hole, using a piece of thin wire as a guide. the end of the pipe had been cut to 45 degree's. Then with some long pliers grabbed the end which had entered the tank and slowly pulled if through, until I was able to attach the filter stone. Eased it back until the filter was settled in the bottom of the tank. I then cut the pipe to length and after replacing the fuel pump I attached the fuel pipe to the fuel pump. Job done

Excellent, pain free, recommended service. 26 June 2012

As a new buyer from the Internet my husband was nervous about a) getting the right piece and b) was it cost effective and c)what was the quality like. Well he need not have worried. Adequate description meant that the correct item for his trimmer model was purchased. The price was the best found, with safe and easy payment methods. The quality of the fuel line was exactly as he wanted. It has been fitted and used with no problems what-so-ever. So it made the transaction totally pain free, hassle free and simple. Delivery was prompt, even quicker than the expected date. The fuel line did exactly what it was meant to do, fitted easily and worked and the right part arrived. Which is exactly the process you want from a company. I know that my husband would definatly order from this company again, without hesitation.
