  Chain Saw Replacement Chain 27 August 2013

  This is the third chain saw chain I have purchased and each time I have found the WEB site easy to use and delivery excellent. I have tried on numerous occasions to sharpen the chain, but have come to the conclusion that the value of a new chain far outweighs the effort and results achieved through sharpening. Cut your losses and buy an excellent value new chain, it saves loads of time in the long run.

  Absolutely spot on 13 December 2012

  Living in a remote area I rely totally on mail order. The chains arrived very quickly, within 12 days in fact. Immediately fitted one to my chainsaw, chopping within minutes!   A good investment for safe working 13 September 2011

  I bought this chain as a good replacement for the existing chain on my saw and to ensure my own safety. My experience with this chain is that from new it will stretch a reasonable amount over the first 2 to 3 hours of use and should be checked and the tension adjusted as required regularly.After this the chain does not strech as fast, but should still be checked on a regular basis. I have found that the adjustment will last for the 5 hour peroid between overhauls required for the saw I use it on. The chain is ideal for resharpening. My advice is, if you have a fair amount of work to do, buy a replacement chain, a chain sharpening kit and a good quality chain oil. If the chain gets blunt or damaged you can use the replacement chain and sharpen the other chain at your leisure. During the sharpening process, the chain requires to be checked in more than one place, it is not just the cutter that requires to be filed, the depth gauge and the hook angle and corner must also be maintained and reworked if required.This will ensure a safe operation and ensure a good cutting action,
