Microwave Oven Lamp 29 January 2015
Item arrived safely and quickly, well packaged in its bubble packaging. Once the casing is removed from the microwave, the old lamp can be out and the new one fitted in less than 30 seconds. Simply pull off two spade terminal connections and unclip the old lamp from its mounting. Clip the new lamp base into position and refit the electrical connections which are not polarity sensitive. Caution! Sharp in their product manual state that only a qualified engineer should fit a replacement lamp - Not so, the lamp is mounted well away from any hazardous components, obviously observe normal safety measures such as unplugging from the power source before commencing any repairs and just be careful not to poke any tools or fingers into the microwave generator or other high voltage components mounted near the back of the microwave cabinet. One final point, while searching the eSpares parts list for this replacement lamp, I could not find a lamp listed for my model R-959(SL)M-A microwave, but the photo image of this lamp appeared identical to what I needed. This particular lamp is listed as suitable for lots of other Sharp microvaves but quite specifically that it is unsuitable for my microwave. Despite this I ordered this lamp (I could have been wasting a tenner), I knew the voltage and wattage matched the blown lamp's spec, I just wasn't sure from the photo whether the new lamp and its base was physically larger of smaller than the lamp being replaced. But - Hey Presto! - Identical in every respect.

Microwave lamp easier than expected 16 September 2014
The manual said the Sharp microwave lamp had to be fitted by an expert. Rubbish. The outer case comes off easily, and I identified what I needed, then replaced the case. The replacement lamp came through quickly, and was identical to the old one. With the case off again, it was only a matter of pulling off two spade terminals, unclip old lamp, clip in new lamp and reconnect. Case back on and job done. Did not have to get anywhere near any of the microwave components. Excellent

New light for ancient microwave 31 December 2013
Wasn't sure which light bulb to get for my 19 year old Panasonic microwave, so I e-chatted to an expert at e-spares who found it for me after i described what the old one looked like. If I hadn't had to take the entire back off the microwave to fit it would have been five stars all round (getting it all back together was a bit of a pain)... but i guess Panasonic want you to chuck it out and buy a new one really.. !!

Picked this off the site because of the picture even though it was not stated to be a Panasonic spare. Received it today and it fitted and worked exactly like the one that broke. You may wish to list this as a Panasonic spare as well. Delivery was quick as well. Top Job!

I bought this bulb and holder from e spares.i identified it on the website and ordered it.the part came quickly very well packaged the downside was it came so.well packaged it would not go in the letterbox so had to pickup at sorting office.the part was easy to fix,it works well

Good to be able to get the right part 22 March 2013
I needed a new bulb but hadn't realised that it was in a special assembly. The illustration on your website was very helpful and I also identified a wave guide so bought it at the same time. Delivery was quick - the next working day. Parts were easy to fit and the microwave was up and running within an hour of delivery. Excellent Service!!
