  I checked the part I needed, what made the purchase easy was the seller displayed a picture of exactly the part I had to replace (original product) which made it easy to make the right choice as the replacement was a different brand. I had the choice of 3 sellers and went with this one for reason stated above. Most helpful!

  Only Lasted 11 months 01 July 2015

  Fitting was easy, but capacitor only lasted 11 months before it failed, on removal it had a large bulge on the side of the capacitor. Had to buy another one from local electrical shop.

  Excellent Replacement 09 February 2015

  My Tumble dryer would not spin when it was started but if I opened the door and moved all the wet clothes to the right hand side it would start. After about a month of this I decided to examine the motor. I found that it was a brushless model so I would probably need to buy a new motor or dryer if the motor was too expensive. After googling my problem I decided that spending a fiver on a new capacitor was worth a try. I'm glad I did because the dryer is as good as new. The capacitor was easy to fit, just remove the lid and side. After reading other reviews I fitted a washer so the capacitor was more secure. Well worth a fiver to fix a necessity in the winter months.

  very easy to fit, once you have over come the design nightmare of the hoover VHC 691b tumble dryer, which makes access to the motor very complicated.

  Good buy 02 December 2014

  Just what I needed at the best value, fixed the problem (motor sticking) and the smell of burn coming from the drum. Only 4 Stars for ease of fitting because the screw mounting did not apply to the mounting on my zanussi tumble dryer but was easily modified to fit the capacitor on existing bracket with a large washer as packing.
