  Got my motor running 25 April 2012

  What can I say - it's a capacitor for an induction motor. If you're motor is stalled but can be started by giving it a spin, this is probably the part you need. Other tell-tale sign of failure is a discharge of fluid (electrolyte) from the capacitor. And whatever you do, don't leave you're dryer on when you go out - this one was too hot to touch. Ten minutes later and I think a 999 call may have been in order.

  White Knight Tumble Dryer 8uF Capacitor 18 January 2012

  My white Knight tumble drier failed to run properly, though I could set the drum running by hand and it would then run. This capacitor replaced a failed capacitor from the side of the motor, after ordering it was with me within 5 working days. Installing the capacitor took less time than it took to remove and refit the tumble drier covers, but in total the whole task took me no more than 1 hour to undertake. The tumble drier then worked 1st time, and should continue to do so for several years ahead. My only observation was that I couldn't find this capacitor listed as a spare for the White Knight tumble drier on espares, I discovered the specification from a discussion forum. January 2012

  GREAT ALTERNATIVE 13 January 2012

  BOUGHT THIS ITEM AFTER TRAWLING THE INTERNET TO CURE MY NON STARTING BOSCH DRYER.IT IS A FRACTION OF THE COST FOR THE ONE LISTED FOR THE BOSCH BUT DID THE SAME JOB.WELL WORTH THE GAMBLE AND DRYER STILL WORKING.

  Worked straight out of the box 16 December 2011

  Be carefull to purchase the correct item for your model I took the photo as being typical not actual for my Zanussi tumble dryer, My Model Capacitor fitted in a slot. But the addition of a couple of washers it fitted perfectly and worked first time.

  Runs like a Swiss watch now... 20 November 2011

  With a full load, my tumble dryer sometimes could not start up (the motor just buzzed). I cleaned and oiled everything, but it still had trouble. I ordered one of these interference capacitors, and the machine start first time, every time. It arrive quite quickly from espares. Great job on the web site btw...

  Tumble dryer spares 20 October 2011

  I found the site very easy to use.I suspected the problem was a capacitor. I looked up the part on this site and it stated " if your motor is running slow this is the part you need " bingo! It only took an hour to fit. Excellent
