Just a few pounds to fix for dads tumble dryer instead of hundreds! 17 November 2014
Super fast delivery, Thanks to YouTube I was able to identify the capacitor as the cause of dads broken tumble dryer, once I'd got into the machine, not easy on this Hoover model, fitting the capacitor took 5 mins, Reassemble and all done.

This product arrived very quick and was packaged well, I had looked at other sites but espares was by far the best value. I got the part and was abit concerned how to fit with wires eg- positive and negative but the helpfull staff explained it can be fitted either way just put the wires on as they come off. I fitted this in less than 10miniutes and it all works fine

My Zannussi tumble dryer would not turn and I was going to buy a new motor but after watching e-spares advice video I bought a new capacitor and it's now working fine. Thanks e-spares.

Tumble dryer fixed 05 June 2014
My tumble dryer was fading. The drum would only turn by off balancing the load, but eventually would not start at all. Following one of e-spares excellent videos about dismantling the machine, I took it apart and cleaned everything including the front seal, thinking this would solve the problem. No joy.. so looked again at the site and they recommended changing the motor capacitor. This has done the trick. Well done e-spares. Thanks !

Even if the part was available locally, it would have cost more in petrol to go and get it than it actually cost from espares. The part arrived within a couple of days and was fitted within an hour of landing on the doorstep. The fixing was different from the original but a large washer did the job of securing it. Our Zanussi Tumble dryer now has a new lease of life and saved a fortune by fixing it myself. Thanks very much for the excellent service to all at espares.

Excellent replacement 14 July 2013
Was so glad I decided to give this a go. The fitting was a slight problem as this part didn't fit into bracket of the old one. But a bit of fiddling soon sorted this minor problem. As for the part, excellent. I'd had someone round to look at my dryer who was trying to say it needed a new motor, when all it needed was this part. Everything is running smooth now.

A wonderful little capacitor 29 November 2012
E-spares have asked me to write a review of this capacitor I bought to replace a faulty one in a Bosch tumble dryer. What to say about a capacitor? Well, if you buy the Bosch approved product, they are jolly expensive. I bought this one after researching how to mend my Bosch Classixx dryer on the internet. Some kind gentleman had posted how to fix it, together with a link to this capacitor as an alternative to the Bosch original. In view of the fact that it cost about one tenth of the price, I thought I would give it a go. And what a delight when it arrived! A slender, very functional looking, little item. I spent whole seconds admiring it and thinking about the money I had saved. And then I tried to fit it. Well, that was another story. All my research had told me that I should be able to take the side panel off my machine, but try as I might, there was no way this was going to happen without me dismantling every part of the machine, which I pretty much did. Two days later I went back to the original posting on how to fix it and saw that for this model you put it on its side and access the motor through a removable panel in the base of the machine. Silly me, two days wasted. So I opened up the machine and spotted the ugly, rotten and not-working-very-well Bosch original part and thought to myself "How am I going to get that out without electrocuting myself? All the guidance says that these pesky little critters are dangerous and should only be replaced by a fully qualified electrician who knows what he (or she!) is doing. And I know I do not fall into that category. I mean, it took me two days just to get the machine open!" (Just as well I was paying myself by the hour.) Anyway, having donned thick rubber gardening gloves and wellington boots, I took an insulated screwdriver to short out the terminals on the original, expecting a huge flash and the house to short out. But nothing happened, the pathetic Bosch original had no fight left in it and came out meekly. Then came the chance to put in the gleaming, beautiful E-spares replacement. She slotted in wonderfully and sat there saying "Look at me, I fit, and I promise I will get your tumble dryer rotating a treat." And she did! A great purchase, cheap and functional. But (and here comes the safety warning) you should really get an electrician to fit it. It certainly would have saved me time.

Just what I needed at the best value, fixed the problem (motor sticking) and the smell of burn coming from the drum. Only 4 Stars for ease of fitting because the screw mounting did not apply to the mounting on my zanussi tumble dryer but was easily modified to fit the capacitor on existing bracket with a large washer as packing.
