  It arrived quickly. An post here then charged me an amount. Paid it a week ago and its still not arrived. All this time with no working oven.

  Not the best 04 January 2018

  Purchased a pattern part as half the price of a manufacturers part, but wish I'd spent the extra. The part fitted OK but the quality of the bends, spacing of the rings and angle of the terminal section are not so good.

  I ordered on sunday , didnt arrive till following sat, website suggested 3-5 days, was living without an oven for that time , which seemed like an eternity. Would have opted for the fast delivery option if I had known.....actual part easy to fit with no issues ( had heard horror stories about non gen parts hitting the fan) .Would have been 5 stars if it had arrived faster.

  smaller screw holes ? 14 February 2012

  the previous element i bought from you was an exact fit this time however the 2 screw holes were slightly smaller in diameter so either had to rebore holes to make screws fit or find smaller screws ,found suitable screws but not 100% secure but oven works ok

  Not as difficult to fit as you may fear. 07 November 2011

  Not Original Equipment Manufacturer, but looks the part and does the job well enough. Do not waste brain power on the mysteries of the Universe, such as how an element rated at 120° heats an oven to 250°. Replace when: the grill works (with thermostatic control), fan works but oven doesn't. Probable cause of failure: leaving door open to warm-up the kitchen without turning thermostat down! Tools Required: a medium cross-point screwdriver, two kitchen clips or pegs, chunky pliers. Isolate oven. You may prefer to remove oven door (see video on this site) and this is a good opportunity to take it into the garden/garage for spray-cleaning. Remove cover plate from inside the oven at the back, (4 screws), exposing the element and fan. Remove 2 screws holding element in place. Pull spade connector from element, using copious wriggling and pliers, placing a clip or peg over each connector to prevent it dropping into opening in the rear. This action will have loosened the connectors so that they are a loose fit onto the new element: crimp to compensate. Reassemble.
