  Not very easy to fit 10 December 2014

  I only needed the glass cover but had to buy the whole light fitting. I found it difficult to get the old light out of the metal case but once I managed this it was easy to fit the new one.

  Replace the lamp! 18 October 2013

  bought this to replace a broken glass, found the thread different to the original so had to fit the whole assembly, difficult to remove the old one you have to examine the new one first to see how the sprung steel fits in and watch your fingers it's sharp, once fitted it is brilliant !

  I only needed the bulb, but bought the complete unit ready for if the time it may fail. 05 February 2013

  It looks good value. Since I didn't replace the whole unit I cannot say whether it is good or bad. The only difficulty was in removing the glass lamp cover within the oven.

  tricky to get the old one out 10 December 2012

  Lamp was ok to get to, beware when taking wires off of lamp connectors that the wires do not pull back into the cooker as then its take the back off (Lots more hassle). When you have taken off the wires the lamp is secured within a brass holder. this was the tricky bit trying to get the lamp out of the holder. I can't advise on how it came out in the end, but after a struggle it kind of twisted out. Th rest was plain sailing besides carefully reattaching the wires to the lamp without pulling back into the oven shell again.

  Only wanted the glass really but couldn't find the glass on it's own. Still, did the job and I've got the lampholder spare now if I ever need it.
