If the hose has a 'spiral' ridge along the outside it may not cut cleanly and could leak when coupled. Check this at the end before ordering.
The standard waste pipe is too short to reach the skin waste pipe. Can this item replace the standard fitted waste pipe on the washing machine.

This kit will fit any machine with a 21 mm drain hose internal diameter.
The machine is badged Hotpoint First Edition. The existing hose length is about 1.6m outside the machine and crosses inside nd under the dishwasher base approx further 500mm. thanks Keith

What I really need is a means of extending the existing drain hose so I can move the washing machine about 1m from its current position.

This kit uses a 21 mm coupling so if your drain hose can be fitted onto this coupling (has a 21 mm or smaller internal diameter hose) then it is suitable.
