Do you know the electrical resistance of this part when it is cold so I can test the current one before replacing please? 1 Answer

We believe the resistance of this component at 25 C is 19500 ohms. The manufacturers do not give any other values.
I have had a new heating element fitted to a Beko condenser sensor tumble dryer. It is heating but the drying time is taking twice as long, the dryer was always very quick. Do you think a thermostat could be the problem?

Make sure the filter AND the condenser are both clean as this will have a significant effect on the drying time. Make sure you are not overloading it and confirm the high/low heat switch is changing the temperature by running on high for ten minutes, checking and then running on low for ten minutes and comparing the load temperature.
The dryer is not working on the 'auto' settings (ready to wear, ready to iron etc). - seems fine on the time settings Have replaced the heater element and tried a reset so think it must be the air sensor thermostat. Can you tell me where it is and how to get to it please? Many thanks Dave

If you look at Stock Number: ES1562750 you can see this part fitted, this is the 'duct assembly' behind the front panel that supports the drum front.
iv bought this part as the description is exactly what i'm experiencing (getting warm but not hot enough to dry ) but iv change this part and still problem ummm?:S what else could be the problem be ?

There is an additional thermostat on the heating element of your dryer, and this is a dual element. Whether the thermostat or one of the elements is at fault, the whole assembly will require replacement.

Hi there, I'm not able to give you the resistance at 20 degrees, but at 25 degrees celsius the resistance is 19.5K ohms.
Beko tumble drier.DRCS68 It has started to over heat. I can smell burning and it made a banging sound. It is still working.Still getting hot. It will work fine for about 30 mins then start to overheat.
Will this part fit my appliance?
