My Miele H268B fan motor has 3 connections to the coil, one side red and black then opposite red is a blue wire but this motor only has 2 connections 1 Answer

The correct motor for your oven is ES1605402. Replacing with this motor may require modification.
The fan and the element stopped working at the same time.Replaced the element but still no joy. Is the problem the fan motor? Does one part need the other to work?

What connection should the red cable be attached to on the universal part ?

THe motor connector can fit on either terminal as this type of AC motors will only turn in one direction.

Stock Number: ES553178 Stock Number: ES1029461 and Stock Number: ES215373 all show as suitable replacements.
When the oven hots up after about 10 minutes the fan seems to make a throbbing noise although seems to be rotating at the normal speed. When one opens the oven door the noise disappears. Any ideas anyone.

Take out the shelves as these can vibrate if the fan is not balanced. If this is the cause by putting a slight twist in the shelve they can fit tighter and not rattle.

What is the diameter of the motor cooling fan ? Is it less than 80mm ?
