Diplomat ADP5520 Fan stopped working, changed motor and it still does not work. Fan Element heats up when turned on just no fan. Any Idea what else could cause this? 1 Answer

- if you can access the fan from inside the oven check to see if the actual fan is loose. if so tighten the single bolt in middle it turns the wrong way from usual bolts
When the cooker mains switch is on the fan comes on automatically but does not switch off at all until the mains switch is turned off. Could this be a fault with the fans motor? If so does the universal fan and motor fit the Hotpoint SY36X 1 Answer

- More likely a fault on the oven temperature switch. Fan comes on correctly as soon as the switch comes away from the off position. Sounds like a faulty contact that doesn't open when the switch goes to off. It's a separate set of contacts that controls the element via the thermostat.

- I had the same clunking noise a week or 2 before my fan motor packed up, so yes, it could be on it's way out.
I have a 2 year old Creda C367EXH oven. The fan is not turning and the oven is not getting as hot as it should. Do you think it is simply a broken fan that needs replacing?

- If the motor on the fan has failed the food cooks slower. I would not choose to use the oven.Replace the fan unit soonest as it is relatively easy to do if you switch off the electric and are useful with a screwdriver.
i wonder if u can help me please when turning my cooker on and when it get warm the fan is working ok and and then it startes a loud nosie
