Removal tool for removing the oven light cover on most Bosch, Neff and Siemens cookers
The glass cover for the top light in my oven has cracked in half. Half the glass and the entire screw fit is still in the oven. This tool, and elsewhere the replacement glass pairing to go with it, looks about right as a replacement set but checking the E-no. gives me an incompatible message. Is there an alternative part for the glass cover? Or is the "incompatible" assessment perhaps wrong in this case?

The reason why our model checker advises it is not compatible is there are no models listed for this part. This should fit all models with this style lamp cover. The tool will not help remove the old glass, turn the power off and try wedging a cloth into the holder on the handle of a screwdriver to apply pressure and remove it. Remember to use gloves and safety glasses to avoid injury.
I have just received the lamp cover removing tool. However, I just cannot get the lamp cover to budge, despite heating it first with a hair drier. The cover has 4 fins. The lamp is in the top back corner, so access is somewhat limited. Any ideas? 1 Answer

Warm the oven for 10 minutes on 200c and allow to cool until you can touch the lamp. Then try using the tool to first slightly tighten then loosen the cover. If this fails carefully spray around the glass with WD40 and allow to penetrate before retrying to remove it.
I'm trying to find out if this lamp cover remover tool would fit the above Beko cooker? I've measured the diameter of the bulb cover and it's 3.9 cm.

This is specifically for ovens from Bosch or Neff and is unlikely to fit onto your light.

Could you please let me know the dimensions of this tool? I have purchased one that is too small for the lamp cover of my Neff oven so I would like to know the diameter of this tool. Many thanks

We do not have dimensions for what lamp cover this fits but only sell one lamp cover tool. This does not fit all models.
I bought the removal tool for my Bocsh oven but when i tried to use it it seems as though it is too big for my lamp cover the tool has nothing to grip onto as its just too big...any help or advice please as my cover is stuck fast!!...thanks... 1 Answer

Try to remove when warm/hot by using a oven glove to turn as the heat may help release it.
The oven light cover has broken off at the point where the thread starts, so there is nothing left to grip and unscrew the threaded length. Any suggestions, please? 1 Answer

It is easy to injure yourself when removing broken glass. It may be easier to replace the complete lamp holder.
