Genuine accessory to connect all Dyson tools to select models of Dyson vacuum cleaners
I have a DC05+turbo, which came with this part (I think!) fitted on the end of the metal pipe. The little green catch broke off, so now the turbo won't stay attached. Is this the replacement I need, and how do I get the old one off?
- Great news for fellow owners of ancient Dysons! I couldn't get the original adaptor out of the pipe, but this replacement fits on top of it. Problem solved :)

This product should be suitable, the universal fit adaptor allows you to use Dyson floor tools that have a catch connector with a Dyson vacuum cleaner that doesn't have a catch connector on the wand or hose. Should push together.

Hi flash, this adaptor fits on to the end of the long metal wand, and will allow for a whole range of tools to fit on your DC04.
I have a Dyson DC08 Allergy cylinder vac & some Dyson tools from unknown model. Need to check if the tools would fit using the adaptor. Cheers

Hi TBTopCat, this adaptor fits on the end of the metal wand part of the DC08, and will allow you to fit any Dyson tool.
I purchased this adaptor to connect universal 30-37 pet hair tool as a replacement for the turbo head on my DC08,the blurb says that the tool will fit 1 Answer
the DC08 but it doesnt. The DC08 wand is of a totally different design to the norm push fit type. Please advise how I can connect the new pet hair head to this wand . Many thanks C Irvine

This part is only for use with genuine Dyson spares, not universal parts.

As long as the animal head is a genuine spare for your appliance then you can use this part.

will this fit on the wand to attach the tools on a dc14 vroom if not what will replace the white end that the tools fit to as the tools wont stay on no more
