I have a white ten year old Algor gas hob and the switch has gone. This looks exactly the same and though I will check the exact model number, I wondered if this came in white? Also, did Algor more or less use the same ignition switches over the last ten years or so? Thanks!

Unfortunately the part will only come in black as it is model specific. Please check your model details and contact us back so that we can help you get the correct part. This link should help you find this information: http://www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers.aspx
I have just found my original purchase details (14.5.01)! The number is 74533185 so part will fit, but the 'button' is broken underneath, i.e. spring and white square unattached or broken. Will everything be there for me to fit and run, as it were?
- Came as a complete unit which only required pushing in to the connector block
this gas hob is in a flat I own. It is a Whirlpool for Ikea about 5/6years old. The ignition switch has broken and I need to replace it, but I can see no numbers or details anywhere on the hob to tell me exactly what to order! All I know is the part started sparking and the cleaner pulled it out and it broke! Help (please)!

Hi Thwarted, hopefully this link will help you out: http://www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers.aspx#a4
its not a very good picture..but as previos question,is the connector block attached underneath.. 1 Answer
- Yes. If you remove the faulty Push button underneath there is a white block that connects to the new push button then you GENTLY push the new one into place.
is the ES103243 the correct button for a AKM200 GB IE hob also is it reasonably easy to fit, many thanks 1 Answer

Hi Wend I can't match the AKM200 GB IE in our database of Whirlpool cookers, however there is a range of different AKM200 models. If you could double check your cooker for the model number we would be happy to find the right ignition button for you. For help finding your model number, refer to our handy Finding Model Numbers guide here: http://www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers.aspx

Hi Dazz I'm not entirely sure which part you mean here. This ignition switch comes as pictured, no hidden extras. I have found the following parts for you which may help. The gas tap, here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-and-hobs/whirlpool/p/1092/278/0/0/130184/tap-gas-medium.html and the generator here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-and-hobs/whirlpool/p/1092/278/0/0/479382/ignition-unit.html
Will this part fit my appliance?
