  • You are going to need a 3 turn single circuit which has diameter of 145mm. The 4 turn will be too big. They sell one on this site. Type in Cooker Hob Rings for a list. By mantronix - London Hammersmith - 16 March 2010

Hi, I have a Creda H150E cooker. One of the rings stays on all the time and gets very hot - reducing it to half heat makes no difference. Will replacing the element fix this or is it another problem? Thanks

Older elements may take longer to heat up but this is not likely to make a large difference. More modern cookers have quicker heating elements. There is not likely to be a 'fault' with your cooker if this is happening on all hob elements.

It suggests you have a faulty element and a faulty controller Check if the parts are available and decide if the repair is economic for you if you are confident to replace the parts.
