Hi August, there's several dryers in the Electra 288 range. You're full model number should have two numbers before the '288' followed by a series of numbers and/or letters. The drive belt has just broken on our tumble drier (hotpoint TL28A) the existing belt is 7 Rib wide and 189cm long, will this drive belt fit?

I have broken the drive belt on a hotpoint 31330 reverse drive tumble dryer but have managed to get it off and it states contitech 144002155 7HP 1860 have no idea what this means - will I be able to fit the dryer drive belt which is on your site will it be suitable can you help many thanks sam

Hi Randolph The belt fits round the circumference of the drum and fits on to the belt tension spring (which can be found here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/tumble-dryers/hotpoint/p/1088/808/0/0/490227/belt-tension-spring.html) and the pulley wheel & arm (which can be found here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/tumble-dryers/hotpoint/p/1088/808/0/0/102941/jockey-pulley.html) Be very careful when changing your tumble dryer, high spring tension is involved and can be dangerous!
