This should be a suitable cleaner/polish for most metal surfaces.

Be careful if using any metal cleaner as it is likely that it can discolour or remove any painted finishes or control markings. If you are using on a plain metal sheet such as a stainless cooker hood try in a less visible part first and follow any brush or texture finish. May produce a 'swirling' pattern on mirror finished parts.
