The instruction book says your display is an LCD type, These do not give off light and will either have a reflective background like a Kindle or use a low powered bulb to illuminate it. Shine a torch on it to see if the display appears to work. If there is a problem with your display you will need a control board replacement as the display and back light are not available separately.
Have broken the lamp holder in a large variomatic microwave fitted in a kitchen unit 20 years ago. Ther problem was the lamp assembly. Please help as I said it is built into my kitchen unit. Mr A .Medley . 1 Answer
problem is it was fitted with the bulb downwards and so vibrated loose and the the unit had ti be withdrawn.
