We have the above stove and recently the ignition system has started "sparking" continuously. The only way we have found to stop it "sparking" is by turning the electrical supply to the stove off. We suspect it is the ignition switch, would anyone be able to comment on the likelihood of this being the case. Best Regards

    The problem is usually caused by contamination on the ignition electrodes, check that all are clean and have no spillage residue.

    On each of the ends of the switch are 'wings' that spread to grip the sides of the fixing hole, Push one side in and 'lean' the switch before repeating on the other side if required.

None of the igniters are "sparking"including the oven, could this be the switch or the"circuit"unit positioned at back of cooker? {the clock & oven light work o.k.}

    You can check the switch with a cheam meter and it is less likely to be the problem. If the switch is ok suspect the ignition module.
