b 4472.2 gb also is the ES757917 the one for my model it looks like it regards alfie

If the element bracket has screw heads that can be undone from inside the oven it should be possible to replace it from within the oven without removing it from the housing.
The cooker is a Neff double oven and it is the top element bottom oven

Carefully examine the oven selector switch for signs of discolour or burning and check for loose or burnt connections on the terminal block.
