The felt seal on the drum appears to have worn, there is a squeal as the drum starts to move, and it sometimes fails to move, is this the part to replace?? 1 Answer
I have already changed the belt, which I originally thought was the problem.

If the drum seal is worn it could cause a noise but you would need to check other components to establish if it's definitely the seal causing the noise.
