  • Try feeding from an old dustbin or large water reservoir. Your mains pressure may not be up to the job of supplying the required flow rate for this machine. I had he same problem and found turning up the water feed helped a lot. I fail to see how an electronic component could cause blocked jets but I'm sure the guy who told you knows what he is talking about. Could also be the capacitor "going" faulty and thus causing the motor to lack power. I would NOT suggest putting a larger value capacitor in as the phase lag/lead characteristics of the motor field coil would change and thus you would get the same problem. The Engineers who design these machines know what they are doing and unless you have a thorough understanding of WHY that capacitor is there and what it does, I suggest leaving well alone (BTW I'm a Consultant Electronics Engineer by trade). Hope this helps. By Sidley - N. Wales - 03 August 2009
