Brita Maxtra+ Water Filter Cartridges - Pack of 3
If you are looking for great tasting water for your home or your office, eSpares has what you need with the Maxtra+ filter cartridges. By using this filter cartridge you can ensure cleaner, clearer and great tasting water.
With the enhanced MicroFlow Technology, it delivers better tasting water than ever before. It uses smaller Micro Carbon Pearls to absorb taste impairing substances more effectively in millions of pores.
It also boasts to reduce limescale as well as impurities that impair taste, such as chlorine. It will work also great on filtering out metals such as lead or copper, that sometimes occur in domestic plumbing. An added benefit of the cartridges is that they can prolong the life of your small domestic appliances, such as coffee machines and kettles - as they are effectively protected against the build-up of limescale!
Over time water filters become less effective and if you want to maintain the taste quality of your water, it will need to be replaced on a regular basis. This cartridge should be suitable for use with 150 litres of water (30 days) - and should be replaced after this litre capacity/amount of days has passed.

You would need to contact the manufacturer of the steam iron f to find out what needs to be used in their product.
It says the filter lasts 100litres of hard water. My supply is soft water, does this make a difference? 1 Answer

According to Brita, you would still need to replace the cartridge after 4 weeks to get the best results from your water jug.
