  • If yours is the type of handle that swings out to push two struts against the frame to help the door to open, look on the edge of the door at the two struts. The plastic cover on each strut will slide off towards the fridge, revealing two screws. If necessary, very gently use a flat-bladed screwdriver to start the cover off by easing it into the gap where it meets the handle assembly - there is a small lug on the underside of the cover at this point. Remove the screws (swing the handle to bring the strut holes over them if necessary), remove the handle and clean the door. Slide off the strut covers from the new handle and screw it in. Slide the strut covers back into place, working from the fridge end outwards. By Freddie - UK - 04 January 2015
  • You need the fridge door open. Holding the door still, slide the silver plastic covers (the bit which slides when you move the handle) towards the fridge, they should come off in your hand. They just slide off with a little bit of pressure. You will then need torques (star shaped screw driver) to remove the four screws (2 for each bracket). Undo the bottom one first and then the top one. To attach the new one, screw the top one on first, then the bottom one and slide the caps back in place. By Anonymous - Cambridge - 03 January 2015
