Have you noticed that although the motor is running properly, your vacuum's brush bar isn't turning, or there's a smell of burnt rubber? You may have a snapped or faulty drive belt. Fitting Tips:

1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Locate the plate or housing that retains the agitator brushroll.
2. Remove the plate to gain access to the belt. Lift out the brushroll and clean the bearings. Discard the old belt.
3. Fit the replacement belt by stretching it from the brushroll to the motor drive shaft - it may help to use a screwdriver to stretch the belt across.
4. Confirm that the brushroll turns freely with the new belt fitted, and then refit the housing.
