Hi - I have taken the motor out and the brushes have a bit of life in but there is play in the motor shaft and smells of burning when running - new motor?

    Itis likely the motor but check for any blockages first that may be causing air flow issues.

Hi, is this part good for 220V or 110V? also, if I accidentally connected a 110V into 220V - was the motor burnt or can it be another part?

    We believe this motor would run very slowly if supplied with 110 volts.

    If it is sparking and smelling of burning then check for any signs of damage to the carbons but it is likely the motor may need replacing.
