Sometimes my Siemens XL1400 washing machine sticks on the rinse cycle and won't pump out. I have taken the pump out and the pump and hoses are not blocked. The fault is intermittent. What next? Any ideas gratefully received. Cheers.

If you have not replaced the pump yet that is the most likely problem as sometimes they can stick and not start.

Answer this question

Silly question maybe, attempted to access pump from back but can't. Do you go in through the bottom of the machine in the video?

If the base is 'open' you can disconnect your machine and carefully lower it onto its side to access the pump or on some Bosch machines you can remove the front panel to access the pump. See the attached video.
