I don't need a heater assembly, I just need a clixon as one of the terminals snapped off mine when touched. This is a very simple and basic part and ought to be available separately. As a service engineer for the past 28 years I know that these items are sold for all manner of things, boilers etc. so there must be an alternative that you could supply. Would you please look into this and advise.

Manufacturers decide what parts they make available and do not give specifications for all the parts they use. If you examine your part and can identify printed information it may be possible to trawl through our images of 'thermostats' and find an identical part but we are unable to do this as our system lists by model and part numbers or description. Alternatively contact the manufacturers for more information.

I have a 2x which keeps tripping my sockets when I turn it on. I disconnected the vac and it still tripped, so I reconnected it, then the brush motor and then finally the heater. It didn't trip when this was disconnected. So do you think a new heater will cure my problem? Thanks.

Yes it is likely your heater is 'breaking down' and requires replacement.
