We are having problems with our dishwasher programmes. Most of the time we have to run the machine a couple of times to get it to work. At the moment we have or set to intensive wash but only get a short/quick wash if we are lucky. What other part should we look for if this is NOT what we need? Many thanks. Jane

The smartcard is like a chip and pin credit card that has the programme information for your control board and this has to be transferred with a card reader to programme a new pcb. If the programme was corrupted the results would be the same every time and not vary. Have a look at our diagnosis videos for dishwashers and if you are unsure as the cause or if it looks like a control board problem consider arranging a fixed price repair as this may be difficult to prove where the problem is occurring.
