I understand that this is the part I need -
However, my unit (which has 'exploded' through the plastic casing meaning I cannot read the product code) has three cables terminating in spade connectors. Two black and one gold coloured. Your unit pictured only appears to have two cables.

The third connection will almost certainly go to the earth or chassis of the appliance. This one connects to the earth through the mounting bracket.
