Hi.My Cannon cooker main oven only comes on with a low flame and will not heat up.
A gas fitter has told me it needs the FSD valve replaced at £83 for the part to fix the problem.Your thoughts please.

Check the flame is on the thermocouple tip, the problem is likely to be the thermocouple but that may only be available complete with the valve on some models.
