      is the switch for the hotplates the same as the switch for the oven ?

        Hi there, the switch that controls the oven is not the same as the switch for the hotplate. This switch can only control the ovens. To find the hotplate switch for your cooker, search its model number in the bar at the top of the page to list all parts available for it.
