Stoves 600 gr heritage gas hob.

The hob electrodes click quietly in the back ground but will not always ignite the ring, if I lite the gas with a match and then try again when the ring is hot they will lite, also when hot the click from the electrode is louder. The electrode is attached to the chassis via a teardrop shaped bracket held in place with one screw, is there a insulator/gasket between the chassis and electrode bracket that is breaking down ? Comments please and item codes of any parts required. Thanks.

The first thing to do is clean all the electrodes and if one ring is poor to lite then swap its electrode over with another. If this transfers the problem replace the faulty electrode. If all are poor to light try disconnecting one electrode at a time to see if this identifies a faulty electrode.
