Bosch cooker coupling

Is this the part I need as the main control knob on my cooker has become loose and 'free', so that I can't tell accurately what temp I'm setting, and it turns further than it should. I don't think I need a new knob itself. Also if this is the part, is it easy to fit?

Hi Jaci, it could well be the coupling that is broken. Alternatively, it could be the switch itself (the coupling acts as an intermediary between the control knob and the internal switch). What I'd do is remove the fascia from the oven, and have a look to see which part is damaged. It could even be that you don't need to buy any parts - maybe something has come loose or dislodged. If you do need parts, simply search your model in the bar at the top of the page to list all parts available for it.
