Water Float assembly
Does this water float work in conjunction with the water float assembly? My reason for asking is that the domed water float is not lifting when the base is full of water so as to activate the pump. The pump and switch are working because when you lift the assembly, the pump works and empties the water so I am wondering how the float assembly lifts up to activate the pump?

I think there is some confusion here. The anti flood switch has a float in a shallow tray below the machine that in the event of a leak from overfilling will turn the pump on and empty the sump of the wash cavity. However it will not drain water from the tray below and therefore the pump would run continuously until the base was drained manually.
