Hoover HNV380 Cuts out after a few minutes and the start light flashes

When first switched on it works normally for a few minutes, then shuts off as though a thermostat is not working properly, I have replaced the Sensor Assy and it has made no difference, It still has the same problem, is this a thermostat that could cause the fault I am having or a fuse that would need replacing if the dryer overheated?
