      Creda starlight 449221 oven is overheating door seal is hanging could the door seal be the problem or oven thermostat

        If the door seal is damaged it will be harder for the oven to reach and maintain the correct temperature and as a result the element will run for longer and hotter. If the thermostat doesn't cut out even on a lower temperature ie 100C then it is likely to be faulty as well.
