      iam wanting to enquire if i need to buy the thermostst or could it be a loose connection

      when i put cooker on at wall main oven light comes on even although i havent switched oven on and heats to maximum or higher temperature, if i take oven nob off and push temp nob down oven goes off . could it be a loose connection??????????
