Hi I have established that this pcb is the right part but I have noticed that the wiring to it is spot welded in. does the part come with the wires attached or does it have to be spot welded when fitting please.

The pcb is soldered onto the wiring loom. You can get a cheep soldering iron from Maplin or Halfords.
