we have a new house with a Stoves New home hob and ignition button is missing, we can't lift hob without disconnecting hob. is there is standard button to buy, it is a "o" shape?

There is likely to be a variety of different size and shapes of knob. Try removing the drawer under the hob and looking with a torch from under to identify the correct model number
